Cowboy Boot

Here is a cowboy boot I made hoping for some spring weather.
By the looks of it thought that isn't coming anytime soon.

I got the file from SVGCUTS.com and am loving it.

I made another one in red as someone I work with keeps asking for a pair of red cowboy boots.
Well here is one for him now.  I have told him the red alligators are extinct now.

Door Signage

I made this sign for the office at my hubby's work.  The fellow didn't care what colour/size/font. He said it was my decision.  This was the same individual who the last baby album was made for.

This sign was made for the bottom of the window as I guess there was
questions on where to put the mail.
Hopefully now it is clear.
I had never been there before to see the window.  I was just given dimensions for it.
Looking just below the window there is a little sign on the door and it is almost the same shade of colour.  Guess my  colour choice was a good one.

Hubby asked me if I could make a sign for the MS Society for their door also.  Being who and what it was for I donated it to them as it is a worthy cause.  So many people are inflicted with it including an aunt of mine.

Here is a view of the box with a Pepsi can beside it.

Don't forget on Mondays Creative Kuts has a BAP(build a project) that is given out as a freebie.  You create with the file and then post it to the Facebook page for all to see.  Each Monday is a new file.

Pimping Out my Blog with A Baby Album

First off I would like to say a Big THANKS to Wanda from Deezy Does It! @ http://deezydoesiteezy.blogspot.ca/  She had this great idea and I have already noticed an increased amount of followers to my blog.

I have been crafting since I was a kid. My mom always had some sort of craft on the go. I learned to knit and crotchet when I was really young. I kind of drifted away from the crafting scene for a while then once I had my most gorgeous daughter and world’s most handsomest son I started to knit again. I knit them matching sweaters and also knit my nephews each one also. My mom commented how she would love one so next Christmas was her turn to receive a sweater from me. I then started mine but have yet to finish it…lol Isnt that the way it goes.

My mom then again decided to try a new craft (cardmaking) so in 2003 that is also when I started to make them also again thanks to her. Over the yrs we scrapbooked together on a weekly basis and went to crops together. In 2009 I purchased my first cricut machine (baby bug). Soon after I decided I would like a bigger one so I got to looking on eBay for an Expression. I found myself a deal.
I used it for scrapbooking and my daughter used it for school projects. I became a member of a group on Facebook and my addiction to the Cricut grew. I heard about another program for the Cricut and also heard that PC was suing them so I knew I had to get my hands on one of them. Hubby even encouraged this as he could see potential for doing other things with it then just my crafting.
I became addicted to collecting free svg’s from the many sites out there. I have made many new friends who also have this hobby/addiction. In the spring of 2012 I met a fellow crafter who encouraged me to start a blog. I did it and have just past my first blog adversary in February. I have not done as much crafting in the past few months as I have hit a roadblock that I am hoping to get over very soon. I have only been doing a few things specific for people but nothing for myself.
In the fall of 2011 I met some other ladies on facebook and with encouragement from a few I have joined a DT for Creative Kuts. I am currently on the 3d team for Creative Kuts and am loving it.

I started making these books way back and used the 8.5x11 albums and covered the outside with material. Once I started scrapbooking I started to use the 12x12 albums and doing the inside pages also as part of the gift I give to people.

My hubby asked me to make a baby book for his boss & wife who were expecting their first child.

Album Cover

I did many different variations but now tend to stick to the same sort of page layouts. The pages are a combination of cartridges and svg files. I find I tend to use both on them.

Hubby asked that when I make this album I stick to baby pink and other shades of pink. Well even before he asked me to make this one specific I new I was going to use this blue plaid on a baby page so here I did it. He liked it in the end.

I like to include page so parents can include hand and footprints of the baby when they are so little. I was so thankful for a teacher who my son had who made up Father’s day gifts with their handprints on it. I got the idea from this framed artwork he made his dad

This page is a file created by the Wonderful Cheryl from www.creativekuts.com. She has some wonderful files that she creates. I knew when she offered this file as a BAP (build a project) I had to have it and have since included it in my albums. It truly shows what a baby is made of. I think it is fitting for it to be the last page of the albums I create as throughout the album you see who the parents are and grandparents and then this little bundle of joy is the creation of all these people.
