Congrats to the Bride & Groom

First off I would love to say a BIG "Thank You" to Deezy from Deezy Does It! for showcasing my blog a second time.  I would also like to thank MyScrapChick for being this week's sponsor.

I chose to use one of their files for my project this week. The file I used can be found by clicking on this link: CardEssentials Vol 2 .

I planned to make the album for the gift for the lucky couple but ran out of time
so I settled for doing up the card instead.  I like the way it turned out and am now thinking
I am glad I did the card now as I will probably run out of time to make it last minute.
 (Procrastination happens all the time)

Her colours for the wedding as I was told were brown with fall coloured flowers. I chose to do the card in beige and brown as those were the colours on the invite and they went well together.
Now that I am looking at the card I wish I would have put a scalloped oval mat under the oval.
I still like the results and am really hoping my cousin and is new wife will come October 11/13

I found a poem on line that I liked for the inside of the card
so I printed it out in brown also.

Wedding Gifts

I made this wall hanging for a special man  who had a wedding to attend on his own.  I asked him if he wanted me to make something for him to give the couple as this was the first function he would be attending by himself. He told me he had no idea what to get them or how much to give them for a gift. This suggestion solved the problem for him.

I used the Regal Font available for a free download of the internet.
I then split the letter so I could put the couples names in the centre.

I also made this for the happy couple.  Thought they would enjoy a cutting board also.

The family name was in the center.

A Stray from the Crafty Path

TRAIL CAM EVIDENCE

My Hubby has made himself a little shack to put out in the back 40 (actually 18 acres) to hunt out of.  He has been feeding the deer and squirrels out there for a while now.  He has put the feeders up with corn in them and salt blocks out and also any vegetable remnants from the house he takes out to feed them also.  He has installed his trail cam out there so he can see what and who goes in there.  Well Aug 31 at around 7:20 pm we had a little visitor out there.  We had heard that they were around and here is the evidence in the bottom left corner of the picture.
